Finding this diurnal moth was one of those “Oh my god!” moments. In fact, I would dare say the most exciting creature I found in all of Panama for very obvious reasons. Sadly the encounter was ever so fleeting, as quickly as I found it and managed to take a few photos it was off, fluttering down a steep slope deep into the cloud forests of the Volcan Baru National Park.
